About us

The Pakistan Long Range Rifle Association (PLRA) is a national body for full bore rifle shooting in Pakistan under the umbrella of Pakistan Sports Board (PSB). The PLRA is the representative member for Pakistan to the International Confederation of Full Bore Rifle Association (ICFRA) and participates in ICFRA World Championships. Alongside trying to show the world the best shooters that Pakistan has to offer we actively push to expand the sport of Long-Range Rifle Shooting throughout Pakistan.

We are above all else an association of shooters, run for our shooters to ensure that our sport goes from strength to strength.

Our aims are to encourage and facilitate the development and participation in the sport of Long-Range Rifle Shooting. To organize and facilitate the attendance of representatives of Pakistan at international events. To liaise with National and International stake holders on the conduct of Long-Range Rifle Shooting in Pakistan and to promote safe and fair practices at the events.

Formed in October 2022, PLRA has emerged in the international long range shooting community. Pakistan FTR Shooting Team registered its presence by participating in F Class World Championship Bloemfontein, South Africa 2023 and European F Class Shooting Championship, Bisley UK 2023. The Pakistan FTR team came back with 5 individual medals (2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze) and 1 team gold medal with championship trophy as the champions of European F Class Shooting Championship, Bisley UK 2023.

We also offer our members exciting opportunities for training, practice and socializing throughout the year.
